In 1997, the first engraving competition with the participants of the workshop was organized and sponsored by the Foundation Casa de los Tres Mundos and the British Ambassy of Nicaragua. The winners are:

In April 2006, a workshop of metal gravure with different techniques like for example etching was organized by the brazilian artist and teacher Leda Watson. The workshop was made possible by the sponsorship of the brazilian embassy which paid the artist, the materials and the participation of 15 persons. At the end of the workshop, an exposition of the works was inaugurated in the presence of the ambassadress Vitoria Alice Cleaver.
