The establishment of the graphic studio “La Sirena” in September 2009 created a possibility for all generations to study graphic art and learn about antique printing techniques.

The foundation „ArtSur” achieved a constantly work in the strengthening of the cultural sector en Nicaragua. The concept combines working places in the production of graphic art with the manufacture of artisan paper.
The foundation started its work with the focus on the artistic education in Nicaragua in 2007. The goal of establishing a graphic studio was realised in cooperation with the foundation „Casa de los Tres Mundos” domiciled in Granada.
The founded graphic studio is located close to the „Casa de los Tres Mundos” and offers the artists besides the technical education formation as well accompanying workshops hold by professionals from Nicaragua, Spain, Germany, the USA and Guatemala. Furthermore the studio creates the possibility to collaborate intensified with the paper manufacturing fabric in Los Angeles / Malacatoya and advance this way the development of the production of “ecopapel”.
