Adan Gonzales

The painter and graphic artist Adán Gonzales began his study of art in the Escuela de Bellas Artes of Granada in 1990. Starting in 1992, he participated in several art workshops in the Casa de los Tres Mundos, directed by foreign and local instructors. There he studied painting, graphics and other techniques such as stained glass, ceramics and molded paper.

work as teacher

Gonzales worked as an assistant teacher at Casa de los Tres Mundos Foundation cultural center and coordinated the paint and graphic workshop. He believes rules sometimes inhibit creativity and prefers to express his ideas without being restricted.

gonzales art

His favorite technique is acrylic painting, which dries quickly, allowing the addition of a second layer of colors, and which is very stable and resists oxidation. Gonzales’ art focuses on the forms of feminine bodies, the life cycle, eroticism and nature.

expositions

His work has been included in national exhibits as well as in various international exhibits in Mexico, Canada and Germany.
