The „Casa de los Tres Mundos” and the artist Rafael Martinéz presented last Thursday evening (March 29th), one week before the Semana Santa, the Photography exhibition “Imágenes de Semana Santa en Granada”.
It is a photo spread, which shows the traditional processions in Granada. But Rafael Martínez does not only capture the colorful costumes, but also the piety and devotion of the people. Each of his photos reflects his accuracy and passion.
“From a technical point of view one can perceive that angles, focuses, backgrounds and perspectives are key concerns in each photo”, said the architect Fernando López, who delivered the opening speech last Thursday evening.
The exhibition was made possible through the support of the “Casa de los Tres Mundos”, the Nicaraguan institute for Spanish culture and close friends of the artist.
The exhibition is open until 11th of April.
