Concert of the Ópera Reggaetón

On August the 5^th the huge concert of the Ópera Reggeatón was realized, with more than 500 visitors at the “Plaza de la Independencia” of Granada.

With united forces the artists were giving their best and burst into the night to Friday with a in Nicaragua unique produced spectacle.

The more than 80 artists on the stage enlightened the night by telling a story, fraught with classical music, pop, trova, rap and reggaetón.

The main story, which was told with means of the music, was about the life of the adolescents in the barrios of Managua, the difficulties; about not letting things get you and keep on looking forward.

Responsible were the great musicians: Edwin Tórres, trumpeter and teacher at the Casa de los Tres Mundos and Luis Matute.

The spectacle furthermore was enriched by the participation of the US-American Reggaeton artist Jsmooth and the German rapper Fage MC, who incidentally was next to Johannes Kranz the Co-Creater of this project.

At this event were participating:

• talented adolescents of the “”Taller de la Ópera Reggaetón”

• the choir of the Casa de los Tres Mundos

• the Juvenile Philharmonic Orchestra of Nicaragua

• steert dancers (of Granada)

• the Orchestra of the Casa de los Tres Mundos

Likewise the Austrian flautist Theresia Wille and the pianist Michael Bandstätter took part in this event.

In the acting province the adolescents of the Workshop were instructed by the stage actress Tina Noguera.

The Casa de los Tres Mundos gives thanks to the foundation “PAN Y ARTE” for their support, as well as to the CCEN (Centre cultural of Spain in Nicaragua) and the station VOS TV for believing in this cultural project.
