21 December, 2011aileenderry757

Last Sunday evening (18th of December) the foundation “Casa de los Tres Mundos” gave a great concert in order to celebrate the conclusion of the academic year of the music school. The audience enjoyed the various program, which contained everything from Johann Strauss via José de la Cruz Mena through to traditional Christmas songs.

Participating in the concert were the “Casa de los Tres Mundos- Choir” under the direction of Jimmy Aguilar, the “Casa de los Tres Mundos- Orchestra”, which is directed by Edwin Tórres and as special guests, the Juvenile Philharmonic Orchestra of Nicaragua, which is under the direction of the music mistress Irma Koch. In the crowded auditorium the concert started with the performance of the “Casa de los Tres Mundos- Orchestra”, which was furthermore assisted by the choir and after that followed the Juvenile Philharmonic Orchestra.

The “Casa de los Tres Mundos- Choir” demonstrated its talented voices with their interpretations of some Christmas songs and two solos, which astonished the audience and generated the desire to hear more. Both solos were musical pieces of the Zarzuela and were sung by Isaac Calero and Jimmy Aguilar.

Finally the three groups (both orchestras and the choir) united and said goodbye after performing a few other famous Christmas songs, with an impressive Interpretation of Händel´s “Halleluja”, which was rewarded with a prolonged applause!
